Safe Rides Unlimited is an organization with a unique approach to preventing drunk driving. Safe Rides, through its network of bars, clubs, and transportation affiliates, offers incentive-based safe ride alternatives to people willing to plan ahead for a night out with their friends.

Safe Rides Unlimited has a unique vision, so that no one ever gets behind the wheel intoxicated, has to ask for their friend’s keys, has to call and wait for a cab at closing time, or has to live with the tragic outcome of bad decisions made under the influence of alcohol.

If you and your friends are going out to a restaurant, bar, or club, you can call 888.656.SAFE and arrange to be picked up by a Safe Rides Unlimited approved luxury vehicle (limo, van, bus) from your house and delivered to your destination. As an added incentive to not drive yourself, Safe Rides will arrange Free Admission for you into member venues. Then, at the end of the night, Safe Rides will provide you and your friends with a ride home.

Your Safe Ride is provided in high end limousines or other luxury vehicles for the cost of an extremely low per person donation, all of which is designed to make Safe Rides a cost effective, appealing, and effective alternative to driving yourself and facing alcohol-related, difficult end-of-the-night choices. What makes this most effective is that Safe Rides works with area restaurants, bars, clubs, and other establishments to offer incentives for using our service. These incentives include no cover charges at some of the most popular bars/clubs, along with VIP status that enables you and your friends to avoid waiting in entrance lines.

How Safe Rides Works

Safe Rides Unlimited’s service is based on a group model of five or more friends and requires a per person, tax deductible donation. The per person donation amount provides individuals with round trip safe rides and free admission into participating venues.  The final donation amount is based on a number of factors, including the exact number of people in the group and your pickup location.

Safe Rides Unlimited is always working on creating and testing other safe ride models, such as local shuttle service for member bars. These new programs will be made available commercially after trial periods are over. Because public safety is at the heart of the Safe Rides Unlimited mission, we have taken a valuable added step on behalf of our ridership. The drivers of nearly all Safe Rides Unlimited vehicles have been certified as Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs). This means that if a medical or health emergency occurs while you and your friends are traveling with us, your driver will be able to provide calm emergency assistance until an ambulance arrives on the scene.
