With all the egg-hunting and feasting on spring preps, it is but average to have a thirst. Easter drinking will end up to be a part of all the fasting (or feasting!). Some prefer to just get a drink or two but other prefer to make an egg-hunting drinking game. Find and egg and get a drinking challenge in it for example – a Jager shot, a sip of vodka.

Do you have  a favorite Easter drink during the Lenten season? If you are having a hard time figuring out what to prepare with your friends, fret not. We have prepared a list of stuff you can drink during the season. Blue Cottontail

Ingredients:

• 1.5 oz Vodka
• .5 oz Triple Sec
• 1/4 oz Blue Curacao

Combine ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake until mixed thoroughly. Strain into a Martini glass. Garnish with a twist of orange.

Easter Egg

Ingredients:

• 1 oz Blue Curacao
• 1 oz White Creme De Cacao
• Half & Half

Pour Blue Curacao and Creme de Cacao over ice in an Old Fashioned glass. Float the half & half over the top.

The Pink Peep

Ingredients:

• 1.5 oz Vodka
• 1.5 oz Pink Grapefruit Vodka
• a splash of Triple Sec
• 1 oz Cranberry Juice

Combine the ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake until mixed thoroughly. Strain into a Martini glass. Garnish with Marshmallow Peep of your choice.

Easter Bunny

Ingredients:

• 1.5 oz Dark Creme De Cacao
• .5 oz Vodka
• 1 tsp Chocolate Syrup
• 1 tsp Cherry Brandy

Combine Creme de Cacao and vodka in a shaker with ice. Shake well. Strain over ice in an Old Fashioned glass. Float chocolate syrup & cherry brandy over the top.

Jelly Bean (shot)

Ingredients:

• .5 oz Blackberry Brandy
• .5 oz Sambuca
• .5 oz Southern Comfort

In a shot glass, pour the blackberry brandy. Layer the Sambuca over the brandy. Float the Southern Comfort over the top. Serve.

Some more recipes:

Pear-Lemon Fizz

Ingredients

• Ice cubes
• 1/2 ounce (1 tablespoon) pear vodka
• 3/4 ounce (4 1/2 teaspoons) Lemon Verbena Simple Syrup
• 1/2 ounce (1 tablespoon) fresh lemon juice
• Champagne, for topping off (about 1/2 cup)
• 1 fresh lemon verbena leaf, for garnish

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add vodka, syrup, and lemon juice. Shake, and then strain into a glass. Top off with Champagne. Garnish with lemon verbena.

Cucumber Mint Gimlet

Ingredients

• 4 1/2 cups Cucumber Gin (or 2 oz.), how-to follows
• 2 1/4 cups fresh lime juice (or 1 oz.)
• 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons Mint Simple Syrup (or 1/2 oz.), how-to follows
• Cucumber peels, for garnish
• Fresh mint sprigs, for garnish
• Cucumber Gin
• Steep 2 1/2 cups diced, peeled cucumber in 4 1/2 cups gin, covered and chilled, 8 hours to 4 days (or 1/2 cup cucumber in 1 cup gin). Strain; store indefinitely in the refrigerator.
• Mint Simple Syrup

Heat 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water over medium-high heat, stirring until dissolved. Add 1 cup mint leaves; remove from heat. Cover; steep 30 minutes to 1 hour. Strain; discard mint. Refrigerate up to 2 months.

In a 2-quart pitcher, stir gin, lime juice, and syrup. Refrigerate. To serve, pour into a cocktail shaker filled with ice, shake vigorously, and divide among ice-filled 10-ounce glasses. (For a single drink, mix in a cocktail shaker filled with ice, and shake.) Garnish each with cucumber peel and mint.

How It Works

Safe Rides Unlimited is 501 (c) (3) charity providing realistic approach to preventing drunk driving.
For a small tax deductible donation, Safe Rides Unlimited arranges a round-trip ride for you and your friends in a luxury vehicle. Customers use this service for safe, convenient and affordable transportation to group outings at night clubs, bars, restaurants, concerts, and sporting events.

Booking a Safe Ride is easy:

1. Select the date for your ride. You call book up to 1 year in advance. Next day reservation should be done by 7 pm the day prior.
2. Indicate number of people in your party. Groups of 4 to 55 can be accommodated.
3. Select Vehicle Type suited for your party. *Per-person rate shown assumes 45 minute or less ride to your destination. If ride is longer, the actual rate might be higher. We will contact you about the rate increase before we confirm the ride and charge your credit card. Additional 20% donation is charged to a credit card as a deposit. The balance is to be paid to driver in cash and no further tip is required.
4. Specify Pickup Location and Time. Enter address and time the limo should pick you up. You can enter ZIP code instead of city and state.
5. Enter Destination and Return Time. Include place name and/or address. The driver will come back to take you home at the specified return time.
6. Sign in. If you are not logged in yet, you will need to do so or create an account to continue. If you booked with Safe Rides Unlimited over the phone in the past, you already have an account, you will be able to find your account by simply entering the email address you used and we will email you the temporary password that you can use to log in and finalize your booking! If you are new and have never used Safe Rides, you can create your account by following simple provided steps.
7. Review and Book. When you book we will place a temporary hold for 20% of the total ride cost on your credit card. This for a tax deductible Safe Ride donation to be paid on top of the total ride cost. At the end of the year you will be able to download a receipt with all charity contributions made.
8. Wait for the reservation to be confirmed. Safe Rides Unlimited will arrange your ride and assign a vehicle. You will receive email, when confirmed. You can also check the status online in My Reservations after you login to GetSafeRide. At the time of confirmation, you credit card will be charged the donation amount.
9. Get Ready. You may receive a call from the transportation provider to finalize any details.
10. Enjoy the ride, have fun and come back safe. Please pay driver in cash, no extra tip is necessary. You would need to cover the cost of tolls, if any.

Mr. Sattar talked about the history of Safe Rides Unlimited where it started as personal project for students in colleges. This was conceptualized after his friend died due to drunk driving. After the incident, he started offering rides for the students and partnered up with bars for sponsoring cover charges and spark up a revolution of a fun alternative to driving home drunk.

Later, the project grew into Safe Rides Unlimited, 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, where we currently serve very loyal customers who look toward using our service to plan their evenings ahead and prevent drunk driving
