PARSIPPANY, N.J., Feb. 26, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) — SYN3 Safe Ride(TM) will begin offering free, door-to-door shuttle-service for patrons of Molly’s Bar & Grill (26 Ridge Road, North Arlington, NJ) beginning Friday, March 9. In an attempt at reducing traffic for residents of North Arlington and in keeping with the company’s goal of curbing drunk-driving fatalities, SYN3 Safe Ride will pick-up patrons of Molly’s Bar & Grill who reside in the towns of Lyndhurst, Rutherford, Kearny and North Arlington at their homes, transport them to the venue, and drive them home at the end of their evenings. This complimentary service is available daily from 4:00PM until 2:00AM.

Says Moe Sattar, founder of SYN3 Safe Ride, “We currently have over 5,000 paying customers in the New York Tri-State area servicing the bigger nightclubs and bars. We thought it’d be a natural extension of our philosophy to partner with the smaller venues and provide this free local shuttle. Our goal is not to encourage excessive drinking, rather to offer adult patrons a responsible alternative to drunk-driving.” If the North Arlington free-shuttle project is successful, SYN3 promises to expand the complimentary shuttle-service to other bars and their surrounding towns. Upon hearing the news, Taste Lounge in Bloomfield, NJ, signed-on to offer the same free shuttles for its patrons. Said Molly’s owner, Victor Fernandi, “If we save just one life with this service, it’ll be a success.”

Founded in 2003, SYN3 Safe Ride aims to reduce drunk-driving statistics while supporting the licensed bar/restaurant/nightclub industry. While non-profit organizations like MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) preach for an end to drinking altogether, SYN3 realizes that a call for alcoholic abstinence is unrealistic. Sattar says, “I’m at BLISS in New Jersey right now and there are a thousand people in here! It’s simply not realistic to expect people to stop going out altogether. We’re not telling adults to stop going out; we’re simply offering them a safe way to get home if they’ve been drinking.”

Already, SYN3’s inboxes are full with customers and members praising their service. A PR and marketing campaign is about to launch, and existing “member” venues have seen an increase in their bottomlines. Says the owner of one Manhattan superclub that is a SYN3 member, “It takes a weight off my shoulders knowing that the guests brought to my club by SYN3 will definitely not be driving home drunk. In fact, my insurance premiums have gone down as a result of having a SYN3 certificate on my wall.”

SYN3 Safe Ride is coming soon to Miami, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and other major U.S. cities. For more information on Safe Rides Unlimited visit www.SafeRidesUnlimited.org

During this time of high Gas prices, Safe Rides Unlimited’s Founder Mohib Sattar promised to maintain the current discounted pricing for safe ride users.

Pine Brook, NJ, June 27, 2008 — During this time of high Gas prices, Safe Rides Unlimited (SRU) promises to maintain the current discounted pricing for safe ride users. As gas prices are soaring they have affected all sorts of industries including the nightlife industry. People are more reluctant to drive to venues farther away from home as they did previously in order to save gas. This is delivering a major blow to some venues.

In these tough times Safe Rides Unlimited is proving to be more valuable than ever for these venues, not only by helping increase business but also by introducing them to a new method of running a safe and responsible venue. Safe Ride Unlimited’s services have been designed to save people money and provide a realistic solution to drunk driving. SRU is able to save people money by letting them make a low per person donation. In return for their donation these people receive round trip safe ride in luxury vehicles, avoid cover charges and lines at some of the most popular venues in NY and NJ. This method of positive reinforcement in form of incentives has proven extremely effective and has been successful in getting people to use safe rides instead of driving drunk.

“We must and will find ways to make sure we are able to provide the services that have proven to be so effective in preventing drunk driving.” Says Mohib (Moe) Sattar (founder).

Some of the most popular venues in NY and NJ are partnering with SRU to offer these services. Venues like Surf Club, Sand Bar, Pacha, Sol, Sutra, Bliss, Colorado Cafe and many others have been offering safe ride services to their customers for over a year now.

Safe Rides Unlimited’s approach in reducing drunk driving is the most unique to date and therefore, has proven results in all test markets. SRU is the first organization that involves bars, clubs, students and the general public to gather data, create effective campaigns and offer realistic safe ride options. These campaigns deliver different safe ride options to deter people from drinking and driving. At the same time these campaigns educate show people how easy it is to arrange a safe ride.
Pine Brook, NJ, June 11, 2008, Safe Rides Unlimited (SRU) has officially opened its Safe Ride services to the general public in NY and NJ after 3 years of successful results from pilot programs. SRU plans to open chapters in LA, Miami by the end of 2008.

Safe Rides Unlimited (SRU) is a 501(3)(c) non-profit organization that stops college students and bar/club goers from drinking and driving by providing realistic and effective safe rides alternatives.

SRU stands alone in its efforts as an organization that not only provides educational campaigns but also arranges safe rides that are realistic, self sufficient and more cost effective than any other safe ride service. To date SRU has arranged safe rides for over 75,000 people in the NY, NJ areas.

By using SRU safe ride’s people receive a round trip (to and from bars/clubs) ride in vehicles ranging from regular vans to luxury limo’s and buses (depending on number of people). Passengers do not pay cover charges at clubs and do not have to wait on any lines. By not paying cover charges and avoiding lines safe ride users save money and bypass the hassles of parking or waiting on lines.

Safe Rides Unlimited is a charitable organization, not a transportation or a limousine company and therefore, does not charge like one. A per person donation is made at the time of the ride which is usually cheaper than paying cover charges at some of the popular venues in NY and NJ. Simply put SRU provides people with immediate benefits for their donation and rewards them by making it cheaper and more fun by not driving to social events and venues where alcohol will be consumed.

SRU’s goal is to eliminate drunk driving once and for all from the list of “causes of death.” SRU has been successful and can continue to succeed by making people understand, the solution to this problem is in their hands.

“Safe rides unlimited will use Positive Reinforcement and Realistic Safe Ride options instead of scare tactics to educate and direct people towards using safe rides instead of driving drunk.” (Moe Sattar, Founder)
